Opening and safety: Frame Lock. Pocket clip. Design based on the Messerschmitt BF-109 (often called ME-109), a fighter plane from the 1930s. 80-layer Damascus blade forged by Chad Nichols. The steel used comes from the recovered wreckage of a Messerschmitt ME 109 Type E (Emil), which was shot down by the Royal Air Force near Ashford in Kent during the Battle of Britain.
